Read, read, read!

Rather then updating on here (like I should be doing) I’ve been out having a social life by watching films with my boyfriend and also reading as many books as possible, nerdy I know. Well I set myself a task on Goodreads to read 50 books this year and I’m already on my 13th, granted on the site it says I’ve only read 8 because I had read a few books before I actually joined the site. But I think for next year I’m going to have to set myself a bigger challenge such as 100 books! Which I think, eventually I will mange unless I loose interest, which hopefully I won’t because I’ve had this small hobby since being about 5 and I don’t want to loose it now.

Also I recently went to see The Hunger Games which at first I was a little bit apprehensive about considering I had read the books last year and enjoyed them so much! They were truly something different and I would definetly re-read and reccomend them. But all in all the film did live up to my expectations and is almost on par with the books save a few things they changed/missed out. I just hope they make the other books into films!

In the past few weeks I’ve been having a good think on what content to put on this blog, such as what films and books do I pick to write about? So far I have The Hunger Games and Pulp Fiction, I’ve also decided on a special long entry on Stephen King because he deserves so much credit for his amazing books. But also I need a good think on what book I can write about that other people may not have heard about.

Anyway goodbye for now, expect a new post tomorrow! :vhappy:

I am so gutted, I didn’t get to see Avengers tonight like we all planned! I even told my mum to book tickets just in case and she didn’t. Me, my mum, my boyfriend and her boyfriend all turned up to cinema to see that all the showings had sold out, we then decided to go to a 3D showing and it would of cost nearly £30 on Orange Wednesdays! (Get 2 cinema tickets for the price of 1) so instead we went to KFC and got a variety bucket, yum yum!

I guess after that my night was uneventful. I sat down to watch Spy Kids 3D with my boyfriend as well as setting my film/book blog back up. I guess I’ll have to go see Avengers another night

I’ve spent pretty much all of my day (at school) joining fanlistings and it’s quite exciting but I still need to link them all up which I think I’ll do tonight ah exciting.

Also I’m off to see Avengers (hopefully) tonight with my mum, her boyfriend, my boyfriend my brother and his other half. I just hope the showing isn’t sold out because I’ve been wanting to see it since it was released and also I love going to the cinema! But also in other news my mum is turning 40 on friday! () the thing is I’ve only just realised that my mum has a Star Wars birthday (May the Fourth be with you), I’ve been buying her birthday cards for maybe the last 6 years (all on my own) and I’ve only just worked it out, man I miss big things sometimes. But anyway my mum is now 100x cool.

I’ll update later after I’ve hopefully been to cinema. See ya  :vhappy:

Back to school!

I have only seriously been back to school since Tuesday and I already have a dislike for it yet again. I’m at the current stage where I’ve finished some lessons due to passing exams and others due to finished coursework and waiting for the exam period to start and it is so boring. Considering the grades I got yesterday (English- esitmated A* and Maths – grade C) I think I only have 2 exams during the exam period (R.E and French) and that’s it!! I guess it’s okay because I get to sit and read in lessons which is quite relaxing, but still I will welcome the days of staying at home going to school for my exam and then coming straight home again  :vhappy:
